Siblings Together USA Sibling Camp

Our primary goal is to provide a sense of belonging to youth as individuals, and as siblings, giving them opportunities to share childhood memories together and among other youth in the same situations. Siblings are often taken for granted; yet the sibling relationship can be the longest relationship in life.

Events at the camp are designed for the youth to have fun, gain emotional empowerment and establish sibling connections. Special programs to address these needs are as follows:

  • Life Seminar Program – This program is designed to support skills for them to become successful adults are also discussed, emphasizing pride and excellence, including conflict resolution, anger management, diversity tolerance and relationship building.
  • Sibling Enhancement – Designed as an intervention tool for sibling groups who are struggling to communicate with each other. Trained clinicians facilitate discussions between brothers and sisters whose relationship has been fragmented due to their separation.
  • Therapeutic Art – Youth are given the opportunity to express themselves in a unique and positive format. By creating a travel-size pillow, customized with a personal message to their sibling, this arts and crafts program helps brother and sisters to reflect and release their innermost feelings toward their siblings.

The camp is not just a summer camp, but is a program committed throughout the year to offer siblings a chance to experience things together, such as horseback riding, swimming, going to the movies, bowling, ice skating, drawing, painting, etc. Siblings look up to each other and they look out for each other. We help them to mentor each other and become best friends.
